Chris Rogerson | Luminosity
Originally dubbed 'recollections of life in the country', Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 is his homage to the great outdoors. It's considered the "pastoral symphony" about nature and something we're all familiar with; wide open spaces!
Maestro Bairos leads the Amarillo Symphony to conduct another Chris Rogerson fiery and inventive composition, "Luminosity."
TIM FAIN - With his adventuresome spirit and vast musical gifts, violinist Tim Fain has emerged as a mesmerizing new presence on the music scene. The "charismatic young violinist with a matinee idol profile, strong musical instincts, and first rate chops" (Boston Globe) was most recently seen on screen and heard on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack of the new hit film Black Swan, and heard as the sound of Richard Gere's violin in Fox Searchlight's feature film Bee Season. Fain captured the Avery Fisher Career Grant and launched his career with Young Concert Artists.
